TailGate Brewery Germantown

I was in Nashville less than 24 hours and this place made it incredibly stressful. I ordered a pizza and a drink. Two transactions. I was charged FOUR times, all different amounts. It ended up being almost $100 in charges when I actually spent around $40. I tried calling them 3x, no answer. I ended up having to file a fraud dispute with my bank and getting my card cancelled. Just an absolute pain to deal with.

We also waited over 45 minutes for the pizza. It would’ve been nice to know an estimate because we nearly left as we had a concert to get to. The pizza was delicious though- and had the fraudulent charges not incurred I would have given this place 4 stars.

I had a great time at Tailgate! I've been to the one in Chattanooga so I knew the beer would be good but I'm glad this one was just as good! It's right next to The Brooklyn Bowl so we decided to hang out for a few hours and pregame before The Dresden Dolls show. What a good choice!

All the beers I had were delicious and fairly priced. I worried the prices would be higher because it's Nashville but they were standard brewery prices and even $5 core beers. Can't beat that!

Service was great! All the beertenders were very friendly, fast, and knowledgeable.

We had dinner there too and the pizzas were excellent! I got the Whipped Ricotta Personal pizza. My partner got the BBQ Chicken Pizza with added pineapple. Both very delicious! Definitely would recommend. Also, I asked for a side of marinara and it was huge! Always a plus!

Tailgate is my favorite beer, and I enjoy them all but especially the orange wheat,

The brewery is connected to the Sounds stadium and if you’re lucky enough you can score a seat on the patio with a view of the game.

The food is good, the beer is good, the staff is friendly. Germantown is one of my favorite Nashville neighborhoods. It’s a great spot to open the night.

This was stop 5 on the "my BIL and friend are in town and we've hit the ground drinking" tour, and we came here to get a beer before the Sounds game.

It's a big, bright space, tons of beers on tap and pizzas!! The beer I chose was a British Strong Ale, and it was rich, malty and delicious.

We only stayed for one beer but the place was great and I'm keen to come back again.
