We looooove velvet taco 🌮 😋 their guacamole is incredible and the tacos are all delicious. We tried their curry cheese dip and it was mediocre but overall we love this spot!
We also bring the dogs and sit on the patio!
Of all the places I've reviewed so far, I think this is my second favorite after the El Salvadoran restaurant off Murfreesboro/Thompson. Kennedy was very helpful and a great conversationalist! Everything was perfect! I liked the elite side dish even more than the taco, which was also stellar!
The best thing about Velvet Taco 🌮 is that they’re open late night. And if I fairly assess all the options that are available in town at 4am closer to the popular bars, Velvet Taco 🌮 will make it to my Top 3 any damn day.
The tacos are fusion tacos, so if you’re authentic taco purist, this ain’t for you! I personally look for tasty food, I don’t care if it’s fusion or authentic — as long as it tastes good, I’m here for it!
My favorite on the menu is Chicken Tikka Taco. Over the years, I’ve seen some tacos being rotated and are no longer on the menu but their popular tacos always stay on the menu.
I used to frequent their music row location all the time but now this location is even more convenient to me. Most of my favorite hangout spots are in east Nash so this location is perfect!
There’s plenty of parking here and indoor and outdoor seating options. Staff is friendly. Now they’re open till 5am so it got even better.
Decided to check them out via Uber for a late night dinner after a flight. Truly amazing and delicious. We tried the beer battered taco and brisket nachos. Off the wall delicious. Only bad thing was that they did not provide any napkins with the order
Absolutely SLAPS when you’re not looking for traditional street tacos. Hands down my favorite thing on the menu is the Nashville hot tofu. The tofu is really soft - tastes freshly made. And the fried exterior is crispy and hot, but not quite make you sweat. The chips and guacamole are also my favorite in town. It’s usually pretty chilly inside so bring a sweater and sometimes the bathrooms are a bit dirty. But overall this place is an incredible and has become a late-night staple. Staff is genuine and kind and usually bumping to the dance music along with me. Great spot. Thank you!!
