Waffle House

This place was like eating at a morgue, like seriously! Food was OK, service was mediocre, restaurant was decently clean, but no smile or thank you with our service. Waitress was preoccupied and food was cold less than halfway through of eating it due to it being so cold in there! Even after complaining to the waitress two different times about how cold it was in there she still did not offer to adjust the air. Only as we were leaving I saw the cook come in and tell the guy that was in the office to turn the air down gee thanks!

The service was great. Food was really good, and even though it was busy, we were served promptly. Been to various Waffle House restaurants, this is one of the better establishments.

It is waffle House. What more could you say? Food made to order. Arrives quickly. Great people watching.

Cheap and decent. The location on Charlotte Ave in West Nashville has the best management I have ever seen. They keep things moving and are cordial, sincere, and kind. The tree stars is mostly because of their menu, but my guess is this crew could pull off something special if they were provided high quality ingredients and a better menu. Sadly, it's one of the best diner style breakfast places around.
