It's is not a huge selection but it is the right amount and there is something for everyone. Hey at least give them a try at least once. But my family will definitely be going back there to eat again every time we are in the area or just want a cheap but good lunch. “Probably one of the better Mexican restaurant/grocery places in Morristown. You can order off the menu or go cafeteria style and select item from the steam table. All authentic and everything I've tried has been pretty tasty. This is not a place for a quiet dinner, with loud fans, machines, radio you feel like lunch in a factory. “Wanted to try something a bit different. How many times have I sat at the traffic light & smelled that tantalizing smoked barbecue small. Decided to stop today as I saw a sign for 5.99 lunch. I ordered the smoked chicken sandwich and it came with a nice choice of sides. I have to say the chicken was amazing. There were so many thick slices. I decided not to eat the bread and I had plenty to eat. There is barbecue sauce on table. They offered fish, pork, burgers and another item at the 5.99 price. With my ice tea I believe lunch was below 7.00 with tax & beverage added. I look forward to trying their prime rib one night. They also offer cat fish and have special prices on certain nights. The restaurant itself was small inside but there a number of nice tables and I think 1 booth. There were single diners having lunch working on their computers. I will go back again. I like local places with good food & friendly staff.”

“Regarding my reviews on Google Maps. Since Google doesn't provide any kind of guidelines on the expectations of what a 5 star rating requires or means. That makes it difficult person to person to decipher what "good" or "great" is. Let alone that one persons 3 star rating is another's 5 star experience. That being said. I eat out a lot and at some pretty nice places. I've recently decided to review each place I eat and add pictures. I will comment on the things that are important to me for a restaurant or other establishment to have a high rating. For me the following are important when rating a restaurant. 1) Cleanliness overall including the bathrooms 2) Service and staff behavior 3) Food and beverage quality 4) Prices (I do not put a lot of emphasis on price if all other aspects meet my expectations I'm willing to pay) 5) Atmosphere (this is obviously in the eye of the beholder) I hope this makes my reviews more helpful and meaningful to all users . I have breakfast here a number of times. The omelettes are very good with tasty coffee.”

“The food there was great!!! We ordered the cheeseburger (which was delicious), fries and the funnel cake fries (that are out of this world) and it was all delicious! I am going to say that the attitude of the lady who served us was very rude, she had a very bad vibe about everything, even when we tried to make conversation with her she turned and walked away. So the service was not so great but the food I give a 5 out of 5 but the service gets a 0 out of 5.”

“The food was tasty. I had a chopped steak, (real)mashed potatoes w/gravy, green beans, and a roll. My son ordered a half pound cheeseburger and fries. My food tasted like Sunday dinner which I love. I also tried a bite of his burger and fries, the burger was well seasoned and the fries were golden, brown, and delicious. The service was great and super friendly! The place was clean and looked like a restaurant that's been around for a long time doing their thing. The only reason I didn't give them a 5☆ rating was because the prices were a little high for the amount of food you get.”

“We had supper here the other night. It was okay. It wasn't bad - I just wasn't overly impressed. They have a french fry seasoning salt to sprinkle on your fries. I was thinking it was like the flavored salt at Pal's, or maybe like Lawry's Seasoned Salt. Bummer - it wasn't! It was more of a hot seasoning salt, like chili powder or Cajun seasoning. The burgers we got were just okay. Not bad but nothing to write home about. Maybe I was just having an off day. Considering it was quite a bit more expensive than a meal at Micky D's or at BK, I was expecting a quite a bit better meal. I've heard good things, by word of mouth, about Freddy's, so I'll probably go back and give it another chance but my first impressions weren't great. Update: May 22, 2019 After my 3-star review I was contacted by both a regional manager and then a national manager, who attempted to turn me into a satisfied customer. That level of effort is commendable on their part. They asked me to give them another chance so I took them up on it. I went on a Thursday night, just like my original visit. I went about an hour earlier than I went last time. But even so, it was basically the same time with the same amount of people at the restaurant. The experience this time was like night and day compared to last time. They had a dedicated employee in the dining room, making sure things were cleaned up and stocked up. The drink station was much cleaner than it was last time. A clean dining room certainly makes a difference! There was even someone who went around asking customers if they needed help with anything. So from a customer service outlook they did a great job. I was impressed. The food seemed to be better as well. I went with my wife and we both enjoyed our meal. She couldn't eat all of her original burger so she ended up taking half of it home. Neither of us could eat all of our french fries so we were both filled up when we got through. We both got some custard/ice cream for dessert. That alone made us want to go back. It was great. It was much better than the soft serve stuff you get at many fast food restaurants. Its no wonder why frozen custard is in the name! My experience this time out was much different, in a positive way, than my first time out. Maybe I just caught them on a bad night. Whatever the case, it was a good dining experience and I won't have any problem going back again. But the most impressive thing to me was how they reached out to me because of a so-so rating. I wasn't trying to give them a bad rating, I was just trying to be honest. Then there was the follow up contact asking me if I had gotten in touch with the regional manager yet. They simply weren't going to let it go with an email. They wanted to make sure I was turned into a happy, returning customer. They did exactly that.”
