Locally owned, and one of my favorite small businesses in the area! Small enough to feel.cozy and intimate, and quality is excellent! You can taste the love put into the food! The scallops are fantastic!

My Mom and Dad introduced me to the Big Table years ago. It was my late Dad's favorite and he was a faithful regular. My Mom is older now and doesn't get out in the evening as often as she used to, so it was a rare treat to find ourselves out late enough for an early supper. Upon our arrival we were so disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed until the dinner hour that particular evening. As we turned to leave the owner opened the door and urged us inside. He explained it was their day for shopping and he had found himself too short handed to adequately serve people. He remembered my mother, which thrilled her, and insisted we stay and eat. He prepared the most amazing meal for the two of us- my mother had the crab cakes and I had the best shrimp I've ever eaten inland. It was one of the coziest meals I've enjoyed in quite sometime. The food is fresh, prepared to order, and the hospitality is more than above and beyond. I highly recommend this small gem and sincerely thank David for making my mother's day.
