Been excited for this place to open as I live less than 2 miles away and it did not disappoint. I sat at the bar and was quickly greeted by the owner Rivers and had a nice cold draft beer. I ordered the Austin Chicken Salad Sandwich with Fruit. The food was delivered promptly and very delicious. The charming building has been completely remodeled and the atmosphere was very cozy but didn't feel crowded. I will definitely continue to return until I have tried everything off the menu as everything looked incredible. Thanks.

Cozy little place at the base of Signal. Food is locally sourced and great to boot. It's not a very big space and they don't take reservations but there is an enjoyable front porch. Looking forward to spending more time here and checking out their lunch.

Nothing short of amazing! The restaurant is in an old house that has been beautifully restored by the Rivers’ family. The attention-to-detail and craftsmanship is felt the moment you walk in the door and the quality of the food is impeccable! The service is fantastic and you truly feel “at home” here. Old Man Rivers is a unique and fantastic addition to the Chattanooga food scene. Eat and drink here regularly, you won’t be disappointed.
