Memo's Grill

Not very fond of the bbq, but the chops and the big dog are almost always on point, ma favorite is the large chop with ground beef and extra slaw. I don't think they actually make call in orders untill you show up, I've tried both ways, call in and live and the time it takes seems to be the same, that's not to say that they aren't timely because they are, it's just that the whole purpose of call ahead is to avoid the wait.

I recently moved to Douglas Heights, so this place is right around the corner from me. I’ve been curious about it and tonight I tried it. The place was very clean, the staff was SO friendly and helpful. I’d never heard of a chopped wiener plate, but quickly decided that’s what I should get, as everyone else had ordered one. It DID NOT disappoint! I loved the hot sauce and mustard with it, the slaw was crisp and just a little sweet (like your Mama makes it), baked beans were great, and it was served with toasted rolls. I’ll soon be a regular at Memo’s. Yum!

Would get a 5 but the slaw has changed. It was store bought. Please grate some cabbage or buy some shredded slaw and make it. I love slaw good slaw.

Staff was friendly and polite. The food was great and delicious

They have the best chop wiener plates in the city, I've been going there for over 20yrs!
