Mezcla Cocina Y Cantina

My husband ate here for dinner last night. The atmosphere was cool, flavorful authentic food, nice staff(our waitress was great), and nice decor. The Frida Kahlo paintings were a nice touch! The diverse staff was an added bonus! My only drawback was that the entrees were too pricey for the small portions of food we were given. I would suggest giving complimentary chips and salsa to make up for the inadequate amount of portion size.

Setting Customer Expectation:
The food is incredible. Don't be turned off that you have to pay for salsa. It's made in house and it's better than any salsa you'll find in Chattanooga. No real comparison. We tried a variety of their tacos offered. They offer some really innovative flavors, and their carnitas is hands down the best I've hand in town.

For Management:
-Add the fact that you reimburse parking to you google listing (or that you can park at Suntrust after hours). A lot of folks want to try your place, but parking is tricky.
-The wait time on food for a slow weeknight was surprising. Food's perfect, but chips and salsa, and meals we're surprisingly slow.

Highly recommend folks support this place, they've got a unique offering that I want to see stick around.

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant! The tacos are delicious, good beer selection and excellent service. We will certainly be back!!!

Went here on the second night it was open. Incredible food (the freshest Mexican food in Chatt for sure), and very creative combinations! The mixed drinks were gorgeous and well thought-out... I could have eaten the guac appetizer for my entire meal, it was so good.... and the tacos were incredible. Great vibes inside, great food, great service. Will be going back for sure

My husband and I stopped by as soon as we saw this place was open. It did not disappoint! First, the staff is extremely friendly and they made eating here such a pleasure. Second, the house margarita is delicious. My standards are never too high for a house margarita, and this one surpassed my expectations. Third, the salsas. We tried all three. So yummy! You can tell that they are homemade and we enjoyed all three of them, our favorite being the salsa verde! Finally, the tacos. They were outstanding. We already cannot wait to go back for a second visit.
