The Hummus BOWL

The food is absolutely amazing! Fresh, never frozen, marinated, made with thoughtfulness. Extremely tasty!

Owners are kind.

Only issue is the small portion size for the price (about $2-3 more per item than I'm used to paying, and I got less food than from other Mediterranean places). Maybe it's a location upcharge as it's in the plaza next to the incline.

There is also a total lack of customer interaction. You order and pay at a kiosk. The food is brought to you and that's it. They have a machine for water and cups you do yourself so the only staff is the kitchen staff. No interaction unless you poke your head into the kitchen.

Bottom line, if you aren't that hungry, it's a great place. If you are hungry, you can get a better bang for your buck elsewhere.

Happy to have this new addition! Garlic sauce is fantastic, and falafel (while could have been a touch hotter for my taste) was very tasty. Lovely people and service. Very expensive drinks though - $5.99 for a mint lemonade in a smallish size clear cup seems crazy. I ordered one anyway. And it was tasty, so there's that.

The 4-stars on the atmosphere was only because it was a bit busy at lunch, so I sat at the bar against the back wall. I wish there was seating facing the room, instead of the wall (I'm one of those people who hates their back to the room). And it was difficult/impossible to get out from there without asking someone to move their chair due to the placement of the other tables, which were full. But the place is bright and welcoming, and very clean.

Will definitely return to try more menu items.

Super cute space! Make sure to look up over the dining area! The food is delicious and the beverage options are refreshing, creative and unique. Friendly staff; great service. The kiosks make ordering a breeze! I ordered so much food because I love this style of cuisine…I couldn’t help myself!! It was enough for two meals, a snack & dessert! Pistachio baklava is to die for!! Make sure also to pop into the neighboring wine store & mention that you’re taking wine to dinner at Hummus Bowl and you’ll get 10% off a great bottle of wine (expertly paired!) and the restaurant only charges a nominal corking fee!! Perfect!!! Can you say date night???

Chattanooga needed a restaurant like this! Casual Mediterranean with quality food, easy to go. You order by a screen and can build your own hummus bowl or wrap. I got a falafel wrap and it was phenomenal. Definitely add the garlic sauce on the side! Will definitely be back!
