“Loved the atmosphere and the service but the food could have been a little better. Someone at our table ordered the French dip and literally couldn’t eat it- tasted very “off” to them. “To the complainers, because they apparently aren't very perceptive, Counce is a very small place. A restaurant in a small town can't make food like the Golden Corral in Jackson. They will go broke. So, to get the best of the best, come early, 11am for lunch, 4-5pm for dinner, and you'll get the freshest bar and buffet. You can't expect to walk in at 1pm after the entire town has just eaten there and lunch is over and expect to get fresh buffet food. Order off the menu like I did and it was delicious.”

“Best salad. Homemade ranch for you ranch lovers. I have yet to find a place in west TN that matches the love that they put into their salad. They use real bacon bits and slice a boiled egg. It’s perfect the way it comes for veggies but you can change it up. You must order the whole salad not side salad. The salad is probably not healthy but definitely worth every calorie. Oh yeah they have catfish fillets are served on bone or off if requested. Better than the catfish place in Jackson by far. It’s on the TN river bank. Good old southern decor. Special place for sure.”
