Slices of Jersey

Since moving here in July we have been on the hunt for good pizza and this place fits the bill. We had plain cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, margarita pizza, and all meat pizza. The sauce is perfect, the crust is flavorful and has the right amount of crisp and chew, toppings delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. We are very pleased to find this place and will definitely be back. Looking forward to trying other options.

I walked in not sure what to expect. At first glance it feels pretty empty - though I'm sure as time goes on it will get a few more things in the lobby. The staff was friendly, and waited patiently while I looked things over. I had intended to get just a slice of pizza (and how awesome is that, to buy pizza by the slice) but given the newness off the restaurant and that it was the middle of the day in the middle of the week (hardly a bustling time for any pizza place) the pizzas on show didn't look all that appealing.

Instead I got a pepperoni roll. I honestly had low expectations after seeing the pizza bar, but the roll was excellent. It was so good, in fact, that I forgot to take a picture first!

Something that would help is to have some seating for when customers need to wait on their order. I was told my pepperoni roll would take about 20 minutes to be ready, which was fine, but there was nowhere within the restaurant to wait. Even if slices of jersey doesn't want to be a dine-in restaurant, a few seating options for waiting customers would be welcome, and may stop the restaurant from looking so large and empty. That and a few things on the walls would help the atmosphere greatly.

Bottom line though, the food is good, and really, that's the most important part of a restaurant.
