Sonic Drive-In

Prices run a bit above average. The drive up draws you in for the nostalgia. Average food, friendly employees but a tad bit slow.

I typically like sonic and enjoy the food. Today i tried their philly and the flavor was pretty good but the meat was dry and had the texture of beef jerky.... So texture wise it flopped. Chili cheese tots are awesome! The only problem i had was their card machine went down and would process the payment. The server informed us she needed us to give her the food back. Which normally wouldnt be a problem if my kids hadnt started eating already. We offered to go to the bank and get cash and she demanded we give them the food back. We explained the children already started eating it and im sorry im not taking food away from my children like that. She apologized and requested the food again. We told her no, she went to her manager whom was very understanding took some information (contact license plate ect) and let us go to the bank and get cash. So overall minus the waitress we were quiet pleased.

I stopped coming to the Sonic in Paris for about 10 yrs, only because the last 8 times I ordered back then we're completely wrong. My wife and kids finally talked me into giving another chance and so far so good. I really enjoy the app and being able to have order ready and paid for upon arrival. Orders , so far, the past 3 months have been exactly what they are supposed to be.

Very good, love hot pretzels...yum chicken was cold but good & pricey.
