“It's a gas station and a spot to sit and eat. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious. Very friendly atmosphere. You can sit in and eat or call in an order and pick it up. On Sundays they start selling beer at noon (added that because it was information that i needed having just moved to Tennessee hopefully it will be useful to others). So glad my neighbor told me about this place.”

“Don't know why but I came in with low expectations. Maybe being in a resort setting and me thinking "captive audience, maybe you don't have to try too hard". We were looking for a place we could relax, see the lake, and enjoy a simple meal in a local cafe setting. I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was very pleasant, setting outside on the deck was very relaxing and beautiful. The food really stood out, flavorful and very well prepared from fresh ingredients it really topped off a great experience. The only thing that struck me (as a Yankee where it seems like whole areas of our county are non-smoking) was that there are places where dining and smoking mix together. We were able to shift a couple times to get up wind and I get that it is a different world and culture and "when in Rome", so we would have gone inside (non-smoking) if necessary. Just an FYI for others from up this way. If you are in the Clarksville area and looking for a day-trip of exploring the LBL area, I don't think you would go far wrong planning your lunch stop at Oak Tree.”
