“We are visiting from out of state and found this place for breakfast. It was so homey and so delicious!!! The lady that took our order and cooked it was so friendly and kind. We had the biscuits and gravy (SO good), eggs, bacon and a sausage egg and cheese breakfast burrito. Everything was hot and highly recommended. It was less than $20 for both of us to eat (and drinks/coffee). Great place!”

“This is the place to go for soft serve ice cream. They waffle and sugar cones. I had chocolate ice cream. I wasn't expecting much but it was delicious. The price are inexpensive so you can take the whole family out for ice cream.”

“We keep going to Don Jose simply for the fact that it is just darn good. The service has always been good, many times excellent, while the food has always been exceedingly good. We have tried almost every other Mexican place, but come away disappointed, wishing we had simply gone to Don Jose's. I recommend this little place in a gas station (for real, folks) to everyone, and have not had one person tell me they were displeased. Highly recommended!”
