Buddy's Bar-B-Q

Went by the Farragut Buddy’s last night and as always had a great time. The manager and employees were joking around, with each other along with my family. They’re a true pleasure being around. The chicken was cooked to perfection and hush puppies were extremely warm. It means a lot when employees learn the names of their customers and that is why we come back.

The food at buddy’s is great but the employees are even better. I’ve been coming in to buddy’s for years because of the service that I’ve received. Clayton is absolutely the best and goes above and beyond every single time I eat here. Eat local, with great people!

This restaurant is dated, but every table was full for good reason. The Tuesday special is worth making a trip to dine. The order was correct, a pleasant young man came by the table numerous times to offer more hush puppies and fries. I didn't come out smelling like I had been sitting around a campfire, a very important point for me. I had pulled chicken, it was tender, not dried out, but with a hint of smoke. My sides were as I would expect. All in all, a great place.

Always a great meal and the employees sure do make it a great experience. Was in there Friday night and between the great chicken and the joy that the employees had it made for an awesome experience. You can tell the manager and employees really like each other based on how they act like a family. It’s nice to see people can still have fun while they work. I will be back a lot.
