Nama Sushi Bar - Downtown Knoxville

Most everyone in Knoxville already knows that this is one of the hottest sushi spots in town. Their half-price specials on Monday and Thursday can't be beat. I am always extraordinarily surprised at how quickly our Sushi comes to the table, especially since it's always so pretty. Seating is comfortable and while the building does get a little loud when full the ambiance isn't all that bad. The fancy scallop roll is still my favorite.

Decent rolls, but most included tempura seafood of one sort or another. Service took quite a while. No one at the host stand at 830, after a few minutes sat myself at the sushi bar, and the hostess came by after another fee minutes very indignantly. Still more waiting time for a server, who was very nice and made a good recommendation, but seemed to have a hard time understanding things and didn't ask questions.

Great vegetarian options. The Mediterranean roll is superb! So too are the blood orange screwdrivers and maragaritas! Excellent wait staff and the food always has an excellent presentation. Convenient to Market Square and everything on Gay Street and just steps away from Old Town!

Wonderful food, atmosphere, and service. My favourite restaurant to stop at when I am having an evening in downtown Knoxville. Make sure to check out the daily specials especially for half priced sushi. Definitely order the soy joy!

Great sushi great cost. We had 2 appetizers and 5 rolls total and bill was only $60.00. Oh and I had 2 children with me. Great bunch of young servers. My 5 year old was quite fond of ours. Good job NAMA
