Ruby Sunshine

Great first experience at Ruby Sunshine. Saturday morning during market day. Seated immediately and enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee. Food was fresh, tasty and varied. Biscuit and cinnamon butter was incredible! We will be back to enjoy this great food and atmosphere soon!

The food and service were excellent! We all enjoyed our meals. I had the shrimp and grits and the sauce was amazing with a good portion of shrimp. We all tried each other's food and drinks and every single dish was delicious. The waitress did a wonderful job making sure everything was perfect and kept our drinks full. I will most definitely be back. Minus a star for the salty hostess.

The New Orleans taste and brunch has finally arrived to Knoxville.
Ruby Sunshine Restaurant has the best quality brunch with a bar in the dinning area.
They cinnamon swirl pancakes and the white chocolate pancakes will have you emptying your piggy banks at least once a week.
My youngest son used his allowance to eat breakfast at Ruby Sunshine this morning for brunch.

Absolutely adored this place. The food is exceptional, our waitress Dani was a doll, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Great service as well. Highly recommend! This will be our go to spot for myself and my son. *be sure to go during the week, it's less busy and you can get a great spot on the patio*

It was 7:30 am on the Historic Square in Knoxville, TN and myself and my wife were hunting for a cup of coffee! Not particularly a good cup of coffee, but a cup of coffee regardless. Having never been here, we soon found that not many places were open this time of the morning! We then noticed Ruby Sunshine was open and our search was over. We stopped in and grabbed a seat at the bar and was greeted delightfully by the entire staff since we seemed to be their first customer. That was our first trip in there, but as it turned out would not be our last. Their coffee should make Starbucks tremble because it was absolutely the best cup of coffee I have ever had! Later that morning we had breakfast with our son and his girlfriend there also. The food is to die for and their biscuits are mouth watering and almost as big as your head! Great New Orleans feel and taste! You cannot miss out of this authentic Louisiana gem if you are in the area! We will be back and our first order will be their coffee again! :-)
