SLAWGERS - New American Restaurant

Had THE BEST time at this place!!!! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our food and service! You can tell it is a very fun environment to be in. The staff seem to all get along too!!! I definitely recommend eating here! The menu is also super clever with names of the items... really do recommend.

Edit*** my husband and I visited again today, August 3rd. The service and food was absolutely, hands-down the bomb. There have been some huge improvements by the business owner. Anyone considering this restaurant, I highly recommend it. Keep an open mind about them. They are a new business with growing pains. Excellent service and top-notch food

I wrote a bad review for this restaurant before because of a huge misunderstanding. A server wrote in a tip when we did not give one because of bad service. I've been in touch with the owner and he's refunded us the 8.00 tip this person took. This was in June and from what I understand this server has also been terminated.

Great service and food. We ordered the little bettes sliders and the BBB. the food is PHENOMENAL, to put it mildly. The owner is a great guy and down to earth. Service was spot on from the last time we dined here. To anyone that is thinking about eating here, I would definitely recommend it. Just please remember this is a fairly new business so there will be some growing pains but the owner knows what he is doing and he's made a lot of improvements since the last time we were in here.

This was the third time we ate here and the server called out, so the owner was the only person serving about 9 tables and considering that, he did a great job. The customer service here is a work in progress but now seeing the owner at hard work, I believe that he will eventually be able to have a great, solid team who he can lead to success. The food here is fantastic and that’s what keep us coming back. Also, the atmosphere and venue is great and I see the potential once the right people are hired and trained.

Food was delicious. Creative menu. Friendly staff. Locally owned. Great vibe. If you haven't been here yet, get here sooner than later. This is a great addition to an already great list of local owned restaurants in Knoxville. I'll be back.
