The owner is from Key West and the seafood is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive. The Key Lime pie was the best I have ever tasted! This little place is a hidden gem; you must try it!

I have been wanting to eat here for some time. We loved the ambiance of this establishment and found the environment quite pleasing. The food definitely lives up to the recommendations and our wait time plus time of the meal arrival was fine. My wife was displeased with the cleanliness of the rest room. The women’s room was temporarily closed so she had to go into the men’s room however it was so disgusting she didn’t enter. It doesn’t create a good first impression to encounter a unsanitary restroom and one would wonder if cleanliness is a priority in the kitchen as well. At some point we plan to return in the hopes that this issue will be addressed and corrected. .

My wife and I decided to give Z fish house another chance and we were not disappointed. We have been vacationing in the gulf for over 20 years and know authentic seafood. Z fish house is equally as good and priced well below those touristy restaurants. Thank you Jackie for being such a great server. You helped make us extremely satisfied and we will return.

Great local place with friendly wait staff. No, it's not a 5-star seafood restaurant experience. It's the closest thing in East Tennessee you'll find to a dive seafood shack on the coast. The food is good, and the prices are more than reasonable. BYOB!

I never have high hopes for fish when I'm inland but the Z Fish House was great. Fried oysters were from the Chesapeake Bay, cooked properly and no greasiness. The fried catfish was also very good. Best coleslaw that I have had in a long time. Located in a very nice little town just off the interstate. Very much worth stopping to eat. Wait staff is great. No liquor license but can bring your own

The staff was really friendly. The food was good. I liked the fries with the flavor sprinkled on them. The food was a little salty for me but I dont eat very much salt. The Cole slaw was unique but delicious.
