“I have high hopes for this place so I will start off saying this was the first day they opened so I’d like to come back in a month and leave another review on how much they have improved. It’s a family owned restaurant making good soul food, which I think is super awesome! Today the atmosphere was quiet, I would suggest music to liven it up a bit and it would help the wait time not feel as long too. A smiling person or sign to tell people to seat themselves or wait to be seated would be helpful because everywhere is different so I was unsure what to do. They were busy when we arrived so we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes on food but I expect the service to be better next time when they get their groove down. The food we ordered appeared to all be hand made, which is amazing! The burger was bigger than just a standard burger and was a fresh patty. Fries were deep fried, regular cut and taste good. Country fried steak, gravy and mashed potatoes were all made fresh and felt like home, I would prefer just a touch more seasoning to all that but to each their own. The slaw was a standard slaw but better than most. The potato salad was my favorite, it was so full of flavor! It had like a non spicy bell pepper of some kind in it that really made the flavors pop, made me want to order more to take home. I asked table next to me how their food was, they got meatloaf and chicken and dumplings and said they really enjoyed it. Prices were affordable and portions were more than fair. I was to full to make it to dessert so next time I’ll start with dessert. Today was banana pudding and butterfinger cake! I wish I would have taken a photo of the food before we started eating but we just couldn’t wait!”

“This place was VERY GOOD!!! We went for lunch on a Saturday and we’re not disappointed!! I ordered a cheese burger and it was life changing good!! Imas soon as the burger was put in front of me I knew it was going to be a good day!! The fries were heavenly and so was the service! One of the people eating with me got eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy! She cleaned her plate! The prices were inexpensive especially when you consider the high quality food they serve! The owners are, friendly, kind and just awesome people!! If you are within 200 miles of this place you need to go as often as you can!!!”

“I’ve been looking for a good and authentic Mexican restaurant and I came across Mailo’s Tacos. The food was a huge portion for a cheap price and super delicious! I was actually surprised. “Had another great lunch today. I asked for a sandwich to be a panini that is usually offered as a wrap. NO PROBLEM! Very accommodating owner and staff. Their homemade soups are terrific and they have a large selection of salads to choose from. Daily specials and custom designed sandwiches. Had breakfast there as well a different day. For a small bistro, they had some nice selections. Choosing a cookie to top off my lunch was hard since there was quite a nice selection. It was included with my meal. A great place to eat while you are out and about.”

“We're not locals. We stopped by this McDonald's once while traveling and were so pleased that I actually saved the location for future trips. The McDonald's is attached to a gas station and convenience store, and it has a modest but unexpected outdoor playground. Traveling a long distance with a small child in tow, this place was perfect. Staff was friendly, the food was good, and we got to unwind a little while the kiddo burned off a little energy.”
