Captain D's

First I will say the staff was nice and friendly. But this is a review on the food and cleanliness of the restaurant. The dining area was clean. There was signs of mold in the ceiling due to leaking (1 star). The condiment table was pretty nasty, there was tartar sauce and ketchup spills on the table. And it was sticky ( 1 star). The floors were clean (5 star). Now the Food: hmm Fries were not cooked completely(3 star). Crab cakes were burnt and gooey inside (2.5 star). (cooked to fast). The fish was cooked in what I would assume old oil. my husbands fish had burt batter on it ( 2.5 star). Shrimp was undercooked (4 star), needed another minute longer to brown them better. Hush puppies were good (4.5 star). Coleslaw was my favorite on my plate (5 star). All in all I will give Captain D's in Columbia, Tn a 3.5 star rating.

Usually love it. The portions keep getting smaller. We use to love to eat here as we don't have one in our town. However this place will NOT get anymore of my business or money. !!
