“Probably the closest thing you'll find to authentic Mexican food in East Tennessee. The food is consistently amazing. As with most restaurants, it's better to sit down and eat. You can almost make a meal of their free platter of chips, salsa, cilantro, and raw onion. And they make the tortilla chips right there in house.”

“Can I just say YES TO TACO TUESDAY! Stopped by here for the first time because of a recommendation, and I was not at all disappointed. The owner puts up specials every day of the week, and Tuesdays just so happen to offer $1 tacos. This wasn’t just any taco either... noooooo it was loaded with melted and crumbled cheese as well as fresh lettuce! Another thing to add to those tacos.... the meat... a little bland, but the NON greasy aspect of it made the meat much more savory”

The downside: The assumption that I have been here before and knew what I wanted before looking at the menu was a bit much. Taco soup is nothing more than chili with a soup texture. It still tasted good. Not too engaging staff, unless you're a local or a regular, is my first impression. Despite a couple of downsides, I'd give this cafe another visit to try other items on the menu.”
