Ocoee Dam Deli & Diner

we had the country fried steak and it was delicious. the sides were just okay though. we ordered fries and they came out cold and tough but they replaced them when I asked. instead of cooking a new batch they refried some cold fries. that's why I'm taking off a star. the service could have been better.

Nice place for local atmosphere, and food. The decor was great, you just don't see that rustic flare anymore! The food and service was very good!

Have dined there twice so far. Both times were wonderful experiences. The food IMHO is outstanding, and the wait staff is way above average. I also enjoy the ambience [the old school videos of Ocoee River action are pretty amazing.] Last Saturday we pulled in as a party of twelve: two couples and eight singles. Susanna [I believe that was her name] got everyone's orders 100% accurate. No small feat. She refilled beverages before anyone asked. Everyone raved about their food. I'm getting hungry just remembering it as I write this. Will repeat. Again & again.

After visiting the Incline Railway, we searched for a unique restaurant for lunch. This fit the bill in spades. From the moment we walked in and saw the chandeliers, we knew this would be fun. The waiter greeted us immediately and got our drinks right away. It was hard to read the menus because we were looking around. After choosing from the great selection of pub food, we were enthralled by the ceiling tiles of doors, the gorgeous woodwork, the stage, and even the bar. Our food arrived faster than expected and was delicious. The French dip was moist, the pimento cheese was homemade, the burger was juicy and the Irish boxty was enormous. No one had a bad meal. Our waiter was on the ball, bringing refills and checking on on us. The entire experience, from start to finish, is one I'd absolutely recommend to anyone in the area. It's worth going just to see the building. 5 stars across the board! Don't miss the experience!

The food was amazing. I had enough for 2 meals. The prices were very reasonable. The staff was friendly and spot on. The atmosphere is just what you would expect. I plan on going again.
