Boro Bagel SOFT OPENING NOW

Stopped at Boro Bagel this morning. The bagels are good, but the cream cheese was star of the show The cream cheese definitely reminded me of New York style. The bagels weren’t the same texture as the ones I had in NYC, but they were a good bagel. We tried the mini bagels (pictured on hand to show size) with blueberry cream cheese and garlic and herb cream cheese. We also ordered the BYO breakfast sandwich on Asiago and a jalapeño cheddar bagel w/ plain cream cheese. We will definitely be back to try more items.
Staff was amazing and worked quickly and efficiently, especially for how busy they were.

The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the fact the bagels done seem to be made on site. It does not smell like a fresh bagel shop. I overheard one of the staff saying their blueberry and egg bagel haven’t arrived yet and should be here Tuesday which also leads me to believe they aren’t made fresh on site.

Finally, a decent bagel and lox in this town. I think they could go a little heavier on the capers and onions and I'll definitely ask for extra next time, but there was plenty of salmon and cream cheese. If you want the bagel for your sandwich toasted, make sure and let the employee taking your order know. I thought it would be automatic, but I was wrong. That's on me. While the bagels are really good, they are not made from scratch. The line today was insane but the employees were working hard and my order came out quickly once I was able to place it. Unfortunately, they were out of many of their flavored cream cheeses, so I won't get to try those this week. I did get several bagels to go to try out over the next few days. The atmosphere would have been five stars if it weren't for the local politician posted up in the booth beside the line.

I got the Teriyaki bagel sandwich on an everything bagel and it was AMAZING. The chicken was tender and the flavor was great. Customer service on a busy first week of opening was very good and you can tell they were really working hard to get everything moving. The owners were very involved and respectful to their employees. Will def be back!!

I had the BYO on an Asiago bagel. It was big, fresh, and very good! The employees were very friendly and turning out orders quickly. The prices were very good as well! I highly recommend Boro Bagels!!!

Such a great bagel shop! The French Connection bagel was SO GOOD! It was the best chewy bagel and it had amazing flavor. The cream cheese was the perfect texture and freshness, not so overly thick and tart like the store bought bricks. The staff and owners are so friendly even while focused on serving everyone. The atmosphere is clean and quirky with several sorts of pop culture decoration. I love that it's locally owned and operated by great people in our community. I can't wait to go back and try a lunch item!
