Cajun Steamer Bar & Grill

My wife and I visited the Cajun Steamer the day after Christmas and I have to say everything we had was absolutely delicious. Being from Southeast Louisiana it’s tough finding a “Cajun” spot that actually has flavor!! We will most definitely be back!! Category 5 Hurricane definitely lives up to the hype.

Although quite loud/noisy, the food and beverages were well prepared and quite tasty. My wife had the Shrimp & Grits with a strawberry daiquiri while I selected the Redfish Rockefeller (spicy but not overwhelming) with a local IPA draft beer (Mayday Brewery Daddy's Money). The portions were adequate in size. I was really impressed by our first visit and will likely return often. Highly recommended.

Madison was our waitress! she was very attentive and so easy to talk to. my mom sister grandma and i loved her! her customer service was impeccable. from now on, she will be the waitress that we ask for. we couldn’t have asked for better service!! we will return strictly because she was so great!!!

Service was great. Crab dip was delicious however, the jambalaya was very dry, the red beans and rice was tasteless, the hush puppies were almost cold. Nice atmosphere and I think because they have been open less than two months they are experiencing "opening pains". I will definitely try this place again and give it another shot. Love how patriotic they are.

Awesome experience! We arrived at 5pm and got a table right away. Good happy hour specials until 6pm and our waitress was great! Tried the smoked tuna dip, raw and smoked oysters and everything was excellent! Nice bar area too, will definitely be back!
