Cheaper on drinks than some of the other bars around here which is super appealing and the staff are friendly

Listen. You're with friends, you're not rich, and you want to get drunk; this is a good place to go in the Boro. Uber home at the end of the night and avoid making prolonged eye contact with people in the bar.

If you like pool and being able to smoke this is the bar for you. Old style jukebox

Gentleman Jim's was hard to get a drink at.
The bar was knee deep in people trying to yell orders to 1 bar tender.
When we were able to finally get an order in,I will say The Tequila Sunrise was pretty much....well...Tequila.
I had to give mine away to my son,because if I had downed that stiff drink,I would have had to have been carried out of the place.
It was smoky,but if you ARE a smoker,that won't bother you.
They have pool tables there,which is the main reason we go.
The crowd tends to run a bit rough,so there is an occasional fight or two.
Just watch your surroundings when you hear those raised voices.
And hang onto your drink!
