Ichiban Japanese Restaurant

It was really gd and services was great, two things I rarely say often

Great food. And very good service. Took my daughter for her Birthday Lunch. Would go back again.

First off I’d like to deter any negative comments on serving size and/or about Americanized foods which others are bashing here. If you want a buffet of California rolls, go to any other run-of-the-mill Asian restaurant. This is authentic Japanese food and all of their items are FRESH and DELICIOUS (more so than ANY place I’ve found in TN!). The owner and the staff are immensely friendly and prices fair for the rarity and the quality of their ingredients. So glad this place opened up in Murfreesboro and love it more every time I go (especially with friends and family). They somehow made an old lounge into a charming establishment of legitimate Japanese fare and it is amazing!!

Due to the mixed reviews I was hesitant to go, but noticed most negative ones were old so gave it a try. First, there was an old cigarette smell in the main entrance but none in the dining room at all so no worries there. We went for sushi and it was great. Very fresh. There were a lot of people dining and the atmosphere was very nice. The menu looks to have pretty authentic Japanese food. We didn't have any so I cant speak to it but a lot of Japanese people were dining there so I think it's safe to say its probably good as well. Everything we ordered was great and the prices were right in line with any other decent sushi place so I would for sure reccomend trying it out!

I love their food! It's flavorful & well worth the cost. We've been 3 times now & have never been disappointed. The service is wonderful too. Definitely recommend you try them out. I promise you'll be back!
