This new location is AMAZING! The space is so fresh, crisp, and clean. The decor is beautiful!
The menu is also updated including things like a vegetable appetizer sampler and a bread basket with multiple types!
We are fans of Clay Pit to begin with, but we're so excited about this new space. Not only is it closer to home (and that means less traffic), but it's also just a much more beautiful space!
There's nothing wrong with the old space. I loved it, too, but this one is even better!
Look, the food is just as if not more delicious at this space, too. Level 4 was on point. The veg sampler and seek kebab appetizers were delicious.
Our chicken saag was divine and the okra do payza was exactly what we needed.
The bread basket was delightful as well!
I did eat the naan, but I have heard that their lunch buffet is all GF. Call ahead and ask, but that's pretty amazing!
Beautifully done new restaurant. Wood tables with glass tops, cloth napkins, glasses, and crisp white plates. Stopped in for lunch and tried the buffet to be able to sample a wide variety. All in all it was good. For me personally I prefer quite a bit more spice and spices but it was tasty. I think the buffet is a nice safe place for newcomers to try Indian food for the first time. Next time I come I will order off the menu to spice things up. Great service and kind staff. I'll be back.
My wife and I ate at the new location of the Clay Pit restaurant on Northwest broad Street in Murfreesboro.
The buffet food was great, especially nice and hot the way it should come off a steam table. The food had a lot of flavor, spicy and delicious. I can hardly wait to go back and try it again.
If you have never eaten Indian food this would be a wonderful entry point for you. Some of the dishes like tandoori chicken, would become Southern favorites if the secret were to ever get out.
The atmosphere is very very bright and airy. A big change because of the renovation to the building. Nice to see.
Best Indian food in town. We have been going to their other location for years. The other location still offers take out. Buffet is $13.99 per person. New place has a nice atmosphere and a bar. Plenty of parking and seating. The nan is the best I have ever had in my life. No one does nan like Clay pit. The othe Indian Restaurants in town do not compare.
We have always love Clay Pit, but this new location has stepped it up even more. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and feels very comfortable. Very clean and the service was excellent 👌. The Nan is the best I have ever had and the same as the original location. The lunch buffet was delicious. They also have a full bar in here as well.
