We've been missing the Franklin TN location after it closed so made the trip to Smyrna..
This is the best BBQ chain/establishment there is in my opinion.. lived in Memphis TN for years and this is way better than anything Memphis had to offer.. (Memphis is probably shutting them out of the city for a reason).
Atmosphere and food together at Famous Dave's is top notch.. just walking into this place, immediately the log wood decor and scent of smoking BBQ puts me in the mood to try anything on the menu because the thought crosses my mind 'everything in here must be good'..
How a chain establishment gets and stays this good is simply amazing to me.. have never been disappointed overall after visiting 3 locations..my regular is bbq nachos.. tried the pulled chicken variety and it was just so so.. service at either the bar or the dining area is always great..
Bottom line: Don't miss it, for several reasons.

Wow so good! The best BBQ I have had here in Smyrna! The feast for 2 easily feed 3 of us and everything was Soo good! The brisket, cornbread, ribs, beans, and corn on the cob. All were amazing! Loved all the different BBQ sauces they offered! And for dessert I had the banana pudding and oh my gosh if nothing else I ate there was good I would go back just for the banana pudding. Will go again, will bring my friends and family!
