“We came in at closing time and the gentleman still waited on us, he welcomed us in without hesitation and seated us....he only asked that we sit in one of the booths or tables close to the bar because they were cleaning the rest of the lobby. The food and service here was great! I will be going back! I couldn't have asked for a better experience than what I had this night, anyone else would have said they were closing and not waited on us but he didn't..... “I had no idea this place was here! It's a charming little hole in the wall place and the owner is very kind. The pizza was made fresh right in front of us. The brick over cooked pizza made for a perfect crunch to the crust, and other Italian inspired items were available aside from just pizza. I wasnt expecting the buffet style, but it was very clean and welcoming. I'll be back for more!”

“I love Donut Country’s donuts! The things is, I’ve never actually been to Donut Country before today. These are the donuts that I find myself treated to due to their presence at office meetings and other occasions. For someone that has never purchase a Donut Country donut it is amazing how many of them I’ve actually had, and they have always been fresh and delicious! Today one of our clients stopped by our office, and he brought a box of assorted Donut Country donuts with him. While my buddy and I were enjoying them I made the comment that we should have donuts for lunch. That is when he informed me that Donut Country actually serves breakfast and lunch sandwiches! I didn’t need to hear any more, I immediately informed him that we would be going there for lunch, and we did! We each has a chicken salad sandwich with chips, and they were delicious! We decided to split and egg salad sandwich and it was one of the best egg salad sandwiches that I’ve ever had! Both the chicken salad and egg salad were very fresh, but that was to be expected as I had been told that they make everything fresh every day. We dined in the store and found the store to be nice and clean, and the atmosphere was friendly and cozy. These guys do a great job and I look forward to returning for lunch in the near future!”

“Great food! Atmosphere is that of industrial styled coffee shop. Order food at the register and they bring it to your table. Big sofa for those who like to sit comfy and chat. Tables and chairs otherwise. Very clean. We went for breakfast and ordered the breakfast plate with scrambled eggs and cheese, seasoned potatoes and bacon. Could have also gotten Mexican sausage. They also serve breakfast burritos which several members of our party ordered. Food is cooked to order so not warmed over. Definitely will go back!”

“Spinelli's makes the best pizza in Murfreesboro. The meat lovers is to die for. They also have a very good selection of beer on the tap. The atmosphere takes some getting used to as it is decorated for a younger generation, but still very tastefully done. We were we were there just last night and I heard people commenting about the size of the pizzas they ordered as they are gigantic. That's a maker for us!!!”

“Puckett’s had a very fun atmosphere and great service. The food was good, but not exceptional. I recommend trying their flight of local brews. The burger and fries was made well, but did not have anything to make them stand out from any other burger. Our server was fantastic and made some great suggestions for the beer flight, all from local breweries. The cherry cobbler with ice cream was tasty and warm. It had a cake like top, rather than a pie crust, which added an interesting sweetness and texture. Overall, a good restaurant, with good service, but mostly stood out for its atmosphere, local-flavor, and service than exceptional food.”

“Jack's Place is the little bar next door to Milano II that serves their menu. The atmosphere is cozy, there was live music on Friday night, the food was great, the service was friendly but extremely slow. When we arrived there was only one employee working the entire place. A second employee came in at some point but they just couldn't seem to get caught up. Our order was slow to get taken, slow to come out, one order was incorrect, we had to ask for silverware, and had to get up and find someone to take our payment. If you are not in a hurry and don't mind a few mishaps it's a nice, friendly place to go for a meal and a drink. If you're short on time and expect perfection you may not be pleased with this option.”
