Flapjack's Pancake Cabin

Received food quickly and staff was friendly. Pancakes were good, but a little dry! Banana foster french toast was fantastic according to my friend.

We had great service and got a variety of great breakfast foods foods here. The staff were all very friendly and knew the menu well. I personally enjoyed the chicken and waffles, drizzled in honey. The seating isn't the most comfortable but it's not bad. When we were there, the coffee was regrettably weak, but that was really the only thing that any of us would have liked to have been any better than it was.

Always a "must stop" during our twice annual visits to Gatlinburg. Fast friendly service, traditional breakfast fare prepared right! We'll definitely be back!

Flapjack's was not busy the morning after Memorial Day. The rustic, log cabin look inside did not offset the hard benches and uncomfortable wood trim on the top of the benches.
First, the waitress was great. The food was not so great. Pancakes were not warm - not quite body temperature. I ordered one of the skillet meals. It wasn't prepared in the skillet - it was simply placed in a cold skillet which absorbed the heat of the food instead of keeping it warm.
My wife requested her eggs well done with no runny egg whites. They came with runny egg whites.
The coffee was good and the left a small carafe of hot coffee - very nice.
We had to ask for splenda, more napkins, and twice for sugar-free syrup.

Great place for pancakes...waiter was great and attentive. Really enjoyed the food. I recommend that the cashier remember to return money, credit card etc back to the patron in hand and not slide on counter. I had a great experience overall but felt this was rude of her. First time there will go back.
