Our first time visiting, we ate pulled pork and ribs (both very tender) with potatoe salad (made with red potatoes with peels) and baked beans. Was very good, sauces are ok (not best). We will definitely be back on our next trip!
Wonderful food and wonderful service! We are on vacation and stop in to see what they had. Would gladly go again!
I'll preface this review by saying that I've had a ton of barbecue from many different places. So my standards may be higher than most. We were looking for somewhere outside of the Gatlinburg strip to eat. This place looked promising. It appears that they have a lot of regulars because many customers were known by name. We were reasonably well taken care of. It's not a table service type of place. I got the pork sampler and my wife got the brisket. The ribs were flavorful, but a bit tough/dry. The pulled pork was OK... with sauce. The sausage was actually my favorite thing. Not sure if they make their own, but it was tasty. My wife wasn't too impressed in the brisket, nor was I (lacking flavor). It was also odd that they pull it instead of slice it. The sides were uninspired cafeteria fare. The baked beans were the best thing I tasted. The place itself was nice and casual and I have to admit that the prices are pretty reasonable so they get a bonus star for that.
Absolutely GREAT food and very reasonable prices. Only improvement I see would be bigger dinning area and bigger parking lot. Over all terrific visit positively will go back there again.
