Log Cabin Pancake House

Wait time was excellent, considering there were only two of us, with seating immediately upon arrival. Atmosphere was pleasant and restaurant/restrooms were clean. Unfortunately it was OVERPRICED for the amount and quality of food. Ham was salty, eggs were rubbery, biscuits were dry and gravy was cold. If anyone had been waiting in the lobby upon our exit, we would have suggested finding another place to eat. Once was enough.

My mom and I have gone there twice and both times the food is absolutely fantastic. The buckwheat pancakes taste like the kind my gran used to make!! The staff are the sweetest ladies!! We will make this place a regular stop on our yearly vacation in the Smokies.

Excellent!!!!!!! We went to Red Rooster the day before and had a horrible experience with dry, fake tasting food and hair in eggs. So we were very hesitant to come here. It is an older looking place but the ladies from the hostess to the waitresses were all EXTREMELY friendly!!! We are tightwads typically but we left her a big tip because she (Barbara) truly earned it!! Coffee was good and hot, pancakes are golden and rich, eggs are fluffy, bacon was crisped to perfection. This will for sure be our new go-to breakfast stop!!

We had the chocolate chip pancakes which were very good. As other reviewers mentioned you could eat them without syrup. The wait staff very friendly and delivered the food quickly.
