Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant

We walked in at a perfect time and didn't have to wait for a table. Our server was great, his name is Hing. He had good knowledge of the menu and had a fun personality. The food came out relatively quickly for how busy the restaurant was. The flavors were phenomenal! I'm not a big apple fritter fan, but these were amazing!! We had the Apple Julep grilled chicken. I was pleasantly surprised at how juicy it was and the apple relish was spot on. We also had the pork chops and they also were spot on. We have waited a long time to eat here and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very homey and inviting. They even had live music outside the entrance. Beautiful restaurant and grounds. Thank you for a wonderful experience. It was my first time to this area and the restaurant. Keep up the great work, I give you 5 * * * * *

As a party of 6, we were sat quickly and immediately served with fritters, apple butter and an iced glass of apple julep. This was followed with fantastic meals that ranged from grilled chicken to chicken and dumplings. With a variety of choices, this restaurant will please almost any appetite. Not far from the beaten path, their location matches the quality of the food. Great restaurant and worth the visit.

Great, fast service. The fritters were amazing. Great southern flavors with plates you can't finish in one sitting. Sides we're perfect. Not a fan of the fried chicken or pot pie but that may be personal preference of a southern girl. Great place to take kids with lots of variety in the menu.

Applewood Farmhouse has the most delicious apple fritters with apple butter and julep juice (I could individually drink a whole glass of this stuff) ! The potato soup is amazing as well! I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Tenders with mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes and everything tasted amazing! Great atmosphere and surrounding shops and ice cream parlor! My family and I were swiftly seated and taken care of. Clean and rustic. Expect high prices, however, but the experience was worth every penny!

This place is an all around great experience for lunch. Right when you pull up you see the apple orchards surrounding the farm complex. The restaurant is in a darling white farmhouse and there are adjacent barns that are just picture perfect. The service was so warm and friendly, and they start off with complimentary apple fritters and the house "apple julep". The rest of the meal was just as great. We'd definitely come back.
