Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn and Cottages

Blue Mountain Mist is our FAVORITE place to stay! The Ball family and all employees are so friendly, helpful and make you feel at home. The rooms are so much better than staying in hotels/motels. The breakfasts are OUTSTANDING as are the evening desserts they have for you at your convenience. Our favorite place is to be sitting in rocking chairs on the big porch looking out over their spacious yard/field toward the mountains and listening to the birds and bullfrogs. Blue Mountain Mist is the place to go and we do as often as we can!

My husband and I would recommend this place to everyone!!!! This was our first stay here and it was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!! I used a third party booking site (never again) and they messed our booking up and Jason went above and beyond to correct it!!!! The staff were just so friendly and made you feel right at home and all of them Jason included went out of their way to make sure you were taken care of for whatever the need might be!!!! You wanted for nothing!!!! The rooms and cabins were beautiful and very clean, the scenery was outstanding and then there's the food....TOP NOTCH!!!! If anyone is looking for an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME place to stay that is close to everything but so secluded and serene THIS IS THE PLACE!!!! I sincerely mean this!!!! Thank you Jason and all the staff for the most amazing, unforgettable place my husband and I have ever stayed!!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!!

We spent four nights here and had a wonderful experience. The breakfasts were consistently terrific and always something different. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable and the fact that it is owned and operated by family really shines through. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We especially loved the huge wrap-around porch overlooking the garden, grounds and mountains. The location is also a plus; close enough to all the action but far enough away to feel removed from all the hustle and bustle. We have already decided that we will be returning.

We have been coming to this inn for about 15 years. It is our home away from home. We absolutely love to be here at all different times of the year to enjoy all the many different seasons of the mountains.
The Staff has become like family to us and we always look forward to coming. We come several times a year and it never gets old. Whether you are staying in one of the cottages or in a room at the main house, you will not be disappointed!

This bed and breakfast is a hidden gem of the Smoky Mountains. It is located on a beautiful piece of land with amazing views of the Smoky Mountains. The cottages are secluded and a great getaway for couples. Cottages are cute and very clean. Breakfast is served everyday in the main house or you have the option of breakfast being delivered to your cottage. Inn keepers are very friendly and test you like family. This is why we keep coming back every year. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
