Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

I'm back and forth around our country for both work and pleasure. I generally avoid Golden Corral, mostly because there is only one close to me in North Highlands Ca. It's terrible. I was talked into and out voted on this one. What a difference! Excellent food and excellent service. Not only is it apparent the chefs at this location take pride in the food they serve, the staff spent more time making sure we had everything we needed than I have experienced even at very expensive restaurants. From the manager who I spoke to only to complement her, to the lady who was clearing tables, they were all wonderful. In the week we have been here we have eaten here three times. Do not hesitate to give this business your patronage.

They were set up a little different than home but that didn't matter. The food is excellent. Out of all the places we ate at this weekend, this was the best. If we come back to this area, we will definitely be back.

They have the best fried chicken.. Everything on the bar is made fresh daily. They have an awesome salad bar with a great variety of items. Don't forget their dessert bar if you have any room left. Great homemade desserts and a chocolate fountain.

We had a bus of 48 people and they were very happy to see us. Sat in all together in an area. Manager came over thanked us for bringing everyone in. So nice to see friendly smiling faces. The food of course is always fresh and hot. Would definitely go back!

This is the first time I've been able to eat out since I had weight loss surgery. I've ALWAYS loved this restaurant and knew there were healthy choices I could make to eat. After we paid and sat down, I asked to see the manager. I wanted to show them a card we're given after we have surgery asking the establishment if they would allow us to eat off of the kids menu. So I asked if they honored that. She said they did and asked me if I'd gotten it today. When I said no, because I wasn't sure they would do it, she refunded the difference I paid. My husband and I told her not to because it wasn't the establishments fault or anything the server did. She wouldn't take no for a answer. I was impressed this company honors something not many other big chains do. I love this place and now I KNOW I can eat there and not feel bad because I wasted so much money. Thanks guys.
