One of the better dining experiences in Memphis. Lovely atmosphere, great food. The service was good, but a bit clumsy.
Dined here Friday night with the in-laws for the first time and had the most amazing experience. We had Sophia as our server and she was extremely attentive and helpful. The fries were addicting, highly recommend! I'll definitely be back after such a great night thanks to our waitress and the great food.
When we went for dinner at Complicated Pilgrim our experience was not the best due to a multitude of reasons; however Sophia is best server at the restaurant and her customer service is beyond exceptional. She will truly go the extra mile each and every time. She is truly a gem!
We stopped in on August 7 for an after dinner drink to celebrate our Anniversary. The bar is gorgeous, clean and the staff is exceptionally welcoming! Our server Sophia was so friendly and kind - she welcomed us to the area wished us a happy Anniversary and had excellent drink suggestions too. She even fixed up my second drink to make it taste better! We had a lovely chat with this darling girl- she is a treasure to keep on your staff!
I’m rating breakfast :) during my stay and since then, I had the avocado toast, curried eggs with grits, and the Samoa float. All three were delicious- the eggs and grits were garlicky, curried, yummy! Avocado toast was so fresh- they make it with soft perfectly toasted bread and a delicious ricotta with lemon zest. One order is enough for a meal for two (and I’m a chunk! ;)) I really enjoyed the Samoa float because it’s summer! Who doesn’t want your espresso with ice cream? Ingredients were all top notch and you can tell. Well done.
