I love this place so much, I've had it 3 times this week so far, and such nice people with great customer service. Gyro entree, Chicken Shawarma, Gyro Wrap especially. Their rice is very unique, whatever herbs and spices used in it is perfect, almost a tiny tad of sweetness to it. This is my new favorite Mediterranean spot in the city. And the prices are so fair. If you're on the fence, just take the leap. More than worth it!
Trying a new neighborhood restaurant. I am very pleased with the quality of the food, great taste and prompt service. I will be back to try the chicken and lamb. I had the beef kofta
A brand new, family owned place. The interior is nicely decorated, warm, and cozy. The owner is very friendly. The service is a bit slow. However, I understand that they don’t have much staff. We started with hummus which came with a pita. I don’t know if the hummus was house made, or came from a supplier. It was very basic, and didn’t taste anything fancy. Pita was not freshly baked either. It was very basic either. The pita - hummus combo was a bit disappointing. Or, maybe my expectation was a bit higher from a family owned place like this! In the main entree, both of us went for gyro platter and a chicken gyro platter respectively. The roasted gyro meat was served on the bed of flavoured rice and paired with French fries. The meat was good. The rice was fluffy, and aromatic ( from cinnamon, mostly). The French fries were served hot, however they were very basic as well. We ended the meal
With a bottle of ayran ( packaged yogurt drink, popular in Turkey), and knafeh. The staff confirmed that the knafeh was also not house made, supplied by any bakery. In fact the knafeh was good. The staff gave us to sample some house made brownie and cookies , which was absolutely delicious. Overall, the place was pretty mediocre, and basic ( doesn’t mean bad at all). However, the hospitality was good.
Nice friendly atmosphere, helpful.
I ordered the cheese chicken shawarma wrap. It was very delicious 😋 The salad was big enough to share, and was the best salad 🤤 ever. Fries hot and crisp, good taste. I definitely will be back.
Delicious meal with a friendly atmosphere. Freshly cooked, large portions, and very kid friendly. Very clean restaurant and the customer service was outstanding! The owner came by to check on us several times to make sure we were happy with our food. Highly recommend and definitely will be back!
