Lew's Blue Note Bar & Grill

I'll admit I didn't try much of their food, just chips and salsa which was great. However, the singer on Friday night was an absolute entertainer and joy to listen to. The most talented of the music I heard on Beale Street on Friday by far. I would come back again simply to listen to them.

Best fried chicken wings ever! Awesome live band! Great atmosphere!

Absolutely loved it customer friendly. Enjoyed live band and interaction with other visiting venue.

Visited here this past weekend, and don't know which was better- the atmosphere, the food, the band, or the service.

Atmosphere- The lounge was just the right size with just enough seating so we didn't have to stand. It also has two bars.

Food- We split a double bacon cheeseburger & fries. It was AWESOME! It was, without a doubt, one of the best hamburgers I've ever had. Everyone in our group ordered one, and ALL of us couldn't stop raving about them. Even if you don't like the nightlife, I would highly encourage you to stop in just for the cheeseburger!

Band-Ms. Nikki and the band were wonderful. She exudes so much energy when she performs. She did an excellent job of engaging the crowd, and acknowledging birthdays and anniversaries. My husband was celebrating his birthday, and she serenaded him. (He thoroughly enjoyed it!) She even hung out with us after her set was done.

Service- Ms. Marilyn was our server. (We later found out she was the owner:-)She treated us like royalty. She was very attentive and accommodating. She got our food and drinks to us very quickly.... and she kept the drinks coming all night. She even brought us water in between rounds (the true mark of someone who knows how to run the bar!) Our party of five was still in there after the place had closed and the staff was cleaning up, but not once did she make us feel rushed or ask us to leave. She just encouraged us to enjoy ourselves. Highly Recommended!!!

Just made it home (Georgia) my first time in Memphis and I had an amazing trip. Really enjoyed Ms. Nikki and the cousins band, saw them in action Friday 7/5/19 and Saturday 7/6/19. The food and atmosphere was great but the entertainment has me planning another trip soon. Recommend Lew’s as a must drop in to anyone visiting Beale St.????????
