SugaShack

So the Sugashack was recommended by some folk here in Memphis, and it they didn't disappoint! The food was hot and fresh, and it came out quickly. The chicken, as my wife put it, "was seasoned down to the bone" (🤣), wasn't greasy, and packed a lot of great flavor. The sides were excellent, and the sweet tea was done right. I didn't get a chance to ask why there was only one server, but if I had a gripe, it was that. The young lady E worked her tail off and I hope that she historically has more help than she did today! We'll be back! 9.1/10

My meal was heavenly! I was sitting in church praying to God for the most delicious and fulfilling comfort food I could get on New Year’s Eve. The Lord told me to go to Suga Shack! My has never led me astray! 🙌🏽

We got the catfish and chicken wing plates with greens, yams, spaghetti and fried okra.

We were promptly greeted and seated as soon as we walked in the door. Our waitress was very attentive and wasted no time taking our order and getting us everything we needed to enjoy our meals.

It’s a small but mighty place. I don’t know how to explain this but it feels like “suga shack” is appropriate. Especially since it’s sits right on Beale Street.

Staff was very knowledgeable about the menu & the food was delicious 😋. Drink menu pairs well with the food. During our visit, the owner was friendly, professional & interacted with the customers. Highly recommended to try & we will definitely be going back!

Nice place for a quick meal. DH and I went for brunch. The grits were good but a little too thick and I love thick grits but not so think they get cold really fast. The seasonings were on point.
Service was very good too.

Would definitely come back again for the live music band and dinner options.
