Memphis Best Soul Food

Straight from the heart. This is literally the best soul food (all of my grandparents cooking aside) that ive had. I got green beans corn and lasagna. Generous portions and friendly service. I definitely would recommend a visit.

Before you go spend $10 somewhere else that won't satisfy you for two days, stop by here. Not only is this a little store, they have hot cooked meals just like you'll find in your own kitchen. They have a huge selection of meats and sides that vary everyday, and they also serve breakfast. I have never been disappointed by the several times I've gotten plates from here. They give you huge portions that barely fit in the plate so you definitely get your money's worth. Try the cake too.

Mostly great food. Fast service and reasonable price for large quantity of food. Great breakfast except I got breakfast on weekends and it was the worst. Always went on weekdays for breakfast. This lady in particular really can't cook and her boyfriend was there bragging about her cooking. He is truly in love . Just saying. This was a Saturday morning. However, I have had plenty of delicious food there. The most convenient thing is they open very early whereas at 5a.m. I was able to get breakfast before work.

The food is good, but I feel the cashier over charges. I've stopped here for breakfast at least twice a week. I've notice the prices are always different and higher on small orders. It's always an amount on the register and I feel like he adds to it. I did catch him add an additional amount to my order. He says that it doesn't add but I state otherwise. The food is cooked instead of process like other places and I prefer that instead, but the prices are questionable.

I always enjoy coming into a warm and delightful place. With wonderful home cooking ???? and customer service. A very pleasant place to dine in or carry out. The owners and staff are really down home kinda folks with big heart's and smiles????
