Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

After a long rainy day all I wanted was to stay home but my husband and daughter wanted pasta. We arrived at Winchester Rd location and to my surprise I had not only a pleasant night but an amazing waiter. It's not often have I had a male waiter that was attentive as well as professional. My waiter's name was Bernard and after seeing him not only wait multiple tables I observed he kept a positive demeanor and displayed a smile. Young men can serve just as well as young ladies. Thank you Olive Garden @Winchester for giving me more confidence in our East Memphis dining options.

Service was the issue. Called to make reservations. Arrived 10 minutes early and still waited 25 minutes on a table. When I told the hostess I have reservations she said it wasn't busy when I called to make the reservations but now people have come in ahead of my arrival. WAIT! ? WHAT!!! Is that the POINT of reservations to RESERVE your seating at a specific time! She seemed dumbfounded by that concept. It was important to me to not have a wait because we were celebrating an elderly person and our party included small children. Neither the elder of the children have a temperament that would allow them to wait our be out late into the evening. SERVICE is HORRIBLE at this location! Please put someone on the front door that knows how to run things.

Placed a telephone order and it was as perfect as it ever was. The service was great and the order was hot.

Good people providing great service down here on Winchester...and we appreciate 'em! So, when you're here, tip generously, they deserve it!

We absolutely love Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
. Not once have we been disappointed with our meal. Lately we've been sitting at the small bar for drinks and dinner. Our only complaint is the tall bartender whose superior attorney attitude is a big turn off. We love sitting at the bar, but the thought of him leaves us asking ourselves if we really want to ever return or just make a table reservation.

The food was good and the service was good. My only complaint was that we made a reservation online and they didn't have it at the location. And we weren't alone. There were several other guests that said that it frequently happened to them, as in it wasn't like it only happened THAT day. We'd definitely go back though. Everything else was fine.
