One & Only BBQ

This place has a small private parking lot in a strip mall. It is right beside a UPS store.

The inside is extremely small and customers seat themselves.

Tables and seats are not that comfortable.

We ordered the ribs and 3 meats. The ribs were mostly bone. The brisket was dry and very lean. The pulled chicken and pork were decent. The entire platter was delivered to us cold! We had to request for it to be heated back up. Sweet potato fries and Mac n cheese were good.

It was a good portion of food and we had plenty to take home.

Loved the smoked wings! Service was great. Had both take out and dine in while visiting Memphis

Y’all, this place is the best BBQ around! I’m obsessed! I had the smoked chicken leg quarter, baked beans, and potato salad! It was phenomenal! I also ordered the Brunswick stew to take to lunch. It was good, but adding the baked beans made it phenomenal! My husband ordered the pulled chicken sandwich and fries and loved his too! Will definitely order from them again!

Tonight's dinner was at a place I'd never heard of, One and Only BBQ.

We started dinner with a smoked sausage and cheese appetizer. As typical, I ordered a combination platter of dry rubbed ribs, pulled pork and sliced brisket with sides of sweet potato fries and deviled eggs. The kids got BBQ

The sausage and cheese appetizer was a highlight of the meal and had I known how good it was going to be, I may have ordered 2 and made that my meal! While none of the meat had a discernible smoke ring, all meats had a nice hickory smoked flavor, were cooked appropriately and their dry rub complimented the meat selection nicely.

The deviled eggs were good and the sweet potato fries were some of the most flavorful I've tried. The kids enjoyed the potato salad and BBQ beans (I tried a bite of the potato salad and they did a nice job with it).

Our meals were topped off with a slice of pecan pie and a huge bowl of amazing banana pudding (I tried a little of both). Both servers Ashley and Mary took excellent care of is while we dined.

Next visit to Memphis, One and Only BBQ will definitely be on my list of places I need to return to!
