Tug's

It was really good breakfast! I came the day after the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital Memphis Marathon and made my trip even better! I had the Apple Walnut Caramel Pancakes and it was delicious ????! Would definitely come again for a bite!

I came back to Memphis for work and drove out of my way to eat here. Place is a great value- great food for a great price!

The gumbo was really good here and the prices are decent for the most part. The mimosa was $6 though and seeing as how it was just a mimosa and there were no specials it’s definitely not worth spending your money on it. The bowl of gumbo was only about 2 dollars more than the mimosa. Overall though, good experience, friendly staff, would go back to try out other items on the menu.

The atmosphere was great, not crowded, nice and dark. The view of the river at sunset was an added bonus. The spices in the gumbo are a bit overpowering (and not in a spicy way.) The Mac n cheese needs more flavor and more cheese. The green beans and drinks were excellent. The steak needs a bit of a kick to it. We will come back for catfish and fries. All around- it’s a great place.

We ordered room service, as we were staying at the hotel. Food arrived fresh, hot, and delicious! My husband had the buffalo wings, and fried pickles. I had the chicken tenders platter. It was great!
