“Stopped by Newts for lunch. Very low key place but the food was amazing. Basic dishes (brisket, ribs, pulled pork, smoked chicken, and chili). Sides (beans, mac and cheese, slaw). They also have hot dogs and bbq baloney The peach pie was the best I've had in years. Will be going back!”

“Really good and nice atmosphere. The fried pickles were really good, very greasy. Got the pork chop with mushrooms and mozzarella, fries and sliced tomato. The Bbq plate (regular) with slaw, turnip greens and cornbread. Dessert was cherry cobbler and pecan pie. All was very good. We would go back again next time we are in the area.”

“They were very friendly even though we came up right before close on their last day of the season. They allow animals as long as they stay on the patio which is fine of course they even brought him some water in a dog bowl (he loved it). They did really good with giving him the right amount of attention so that he didn't get to hyper. Food was good we both got a burger and fries and my dog got a hot dog. Since one of us is gluten and dairy free we just did the burger patty no cheese or bun.”

“My husbands birthday surprise with a beautiful drive to Rock Island Park and viewing awsome waterfall and a wonderful meal. It's all worth the drive. Especially the homemade desserts!!!!”

“Extremely delicious food. Great fantastic service. The prices are great. The pancakes are super tasty and theyre not heavy but light and can eat it without feeling heavy after. The menus is quite expansive which allows you to have any breakfast item you eat at home. There is plenty of parking. Some weekends they will close early due to warren county fairs so just check calendar of the county and make sure that's not going on.”
