Me and my family absolutely love this place!! We eat here once or twice a week. The lunch is a perfect portion for anyone. I would recommend you go if you have never been!! Get the chicken and double fried potatoes for a starter meal (first time going of course)!!

If there was a way to give more than five stars I would. I have been to many large cities (Chicago, New York, New Orleans etc) and nowhere has German food as good as this. Their top rated German restaurants don't hold a candle to this one. I always get Chicken Schnitzel with Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli and beer cheese. And of course their beer is on point. 10 out of 10. The best German restaurant. EVER

Incredible food! This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The only negative thing that happened during my visit was a little bit of a delay in seating. I was stared at for several minutes before anyone came to seat me. I visited shortly after 4:00 p.m. Attempting to beat the dinner rush which I did. The restaurant was very clean and my waitress was very attentive. I will definitely return here in the future.

This is my favorite restaurant in Johnson City, TN. EVERYTHING on the menu is good! The beer s good also. Choose to sit upstairs, especially during the winter months, or you will be seated near the door and freeze your butt off each time someone enters. Great food, good service, and great beer!

First time here, friends have been often and love it. Beer is a bit expensive, $6 for a pint, $9.75 for a 32oz. but it's German beer. Food was fantastic. Excellent portion sizes, especially for the price. Would highly recommend the cheddar brats, but the schnitzel sandwich is great too!
