Although clean, the lack of atmosphere really brings focus to what's important...the food. Personally I loved the food and the server was very friendly and helpful. Spiced well and ample portions. I would give the food a 5 star atmosphere a 3. Highly enjoyable, I will be back.

Before going, I thought other reviewers sounded kind of snobby for docking stars due to the ambiance of this restaurant. Having visited for a weekday lunch, I have to agree. The food was very satisfactory, I had a cup of the soup of the day (green beans in a thin tomato-based stew) and the mixed kabob. It all tasted good! I went here because I did not want to go to a chain restaurant and wasn't feeling like Mexican, Italian, or Vietnamese/Thai food. If you go in expecting a "hole in the wall" type experience with Mediterranean food, I think you will be pleased. Prices are reasonable, portions are appropriate, and there was no wait. However I would really like to see management invest in the guest experience-- when I first walked in I really wondered if I was in the right place. There are no signs inside to "please seat yourself", no hostess stand near the door, just walk into a sparse sea of plastic-covered tables. It's all very bare bones. If there hadn't been a couple of business men eating already I would have turned around and walked out.
