“Our whole family from Illinois were in town for funeral, and had heard great things about Blakes. Went on a Sat night with 11 people, did not have to wait as long as the staff had suggested. Enjoyed drinks from the bar! Everyone raved about their food, from the wings, brisket burger with pimento cheese, the vinegar slaw, to kids hamburgers. And their Key Lime pie was best! Staff was very nice, and helpful with little ones. We will be back for sure!!!”

“Lived in Chicago area for 40ish years. Ordered gyro & pizza. Gyro was excellent, house sauce complemented it nicely. Pizza was nice hand tossed crust, spicy Italian sausage & the mushrooms looked fresh. Added nice size side salads where the house dressing was very good. It's order at counter & carry out or eat in. We stayed & it was a bit warn, but otherwise nice. Will definitely be back during our monthly visits to Rural King for feed!”

“Pretty good place with nice service. We went a bit after midnight and while we did have to wait, the food was thankfully hot and fresh. The staff was funny and helpful, too. I know if I had to deal with hungry people that late at night I'd be a grumpus, so the light atmosphere they provided while we waited was much appreciated. ????”
