“In the area for a hockey tournament. Decided to try Mexicali Grill. We arrived at 11am, the first customers of the day. The restaurant and the bathroom was very clean. The decor was authentic as was the food. The service was great, we practiced our Spanish with the gentleman waiter. The food was Great! It was flavorful and authentic. I highly recommend this place. The experience greatly surpassed our expectations! I had the chimichanga off the lunch menu( I should have taken a picture of it). Chips were delicious served with three bowls of salsa then refilled without asking. Also the price was beyond reasonable. Seemed family owned.”

“This is a nice place to eat but personally believe the spices could have been a bit more robust. Food was good but lacked pizzaz. Most Italian specialty restaurants offer freshly grated Parmesan cheese. The offered cheese was ground and likely from the shaker you can get from your local supermarket. Wine selection did not include Lambrusco which is a typical Italian wine. Many varieties were NOT available in a bottle. Good but not great. This is a drive from the Lebanon area and I was hoping for a bit better.”

“Great food for a great price!! Everything came out really fresh and well prepared. Even the pasta came out cooked wonderfully, which normally I won't order pasta from a restaurant (this was no exception, my boyfriend did) but after trying it out here I would definitely consider it in the future. We got a TON of food and a fancy cocktail that was the size of my fave and still walked out paying less than $30. Would definitely come back!!”

“My family growing up and I have always enjoyed every Cracker Barrel. I have almost 30 years of good Cracker Barrel memories. Other states, cities and local- never a complaint. Can remember picking candy with my grandma when I was little, playing checkers both in the toy area and near the fireplace. Have always loved the holiday decor and gifts. Food is just plan good. Classic restaurant that has gotten it right for many, many years. 2 year old nephew is continuing the “tradition” of loving Cracker Barrel- and not just the kids’ section! His cousins love it too!”

“Food is very good. I felt safe with my nut (peanut and tree) allergy, as the menu requests food allergies be told to the server. I do this naturally but it was nice to feel “seen” in a way! I definitely don’t know a whole lot about sushi and what is considered authentic, but I like to try different kinds at different places and theirs is quite good. (To give an idea, I will try anything that isn’t tuna or salmon, or roe. I like eel, octopus, squid, and typically nothing cooked.) Last visit was seated where we could watch them make it! Fascinating!! Careful and methodical. Very happy to hear we loved our sushi. This place is very full at lunch break hours, but I’ve never had to wait.”

“LOVED this place. Went there on a whim knowing nothing about it other than its name, and it does its name proud. Sure, there are drinks other than beer and food other than burgers, but I feel like you're missing out on an experience if you don't go for the titular combo. The beer selection was great, and my favorite part about the menu was that under each burger there were beer pairing suggestions. That was the first time I'd ever seen that! The waitress was patient, attentive, and knowledgeable, too. But the best part is by far the food. I got the Morning After and my partner got the Shu, which he added an egg to. Phenomenal. We were both making that face you make when the food surprises you every bite with how delicious it is. The seasoned and sweet potato fries are also total winners. I can't wait to go back!”
