Went in for lunch and the place is a classic Mexican restaurant with bright colors, festive music and a large open dining area.
I sat at the bar and brought a large serving of chips with a nice, spicy salsa.
Ordered the Spicy Burrito lunch special but it was more like a giant enchilada. Fast service with hot food that was well seasoned.
Here’s the breakdown:
Fast and friendly service +1 star; bright and clean +1 star; large portion of good food +1 star; fun and festive music +1 star.
While not the burrito I’m looking for (miss the ones I got in Illinois) everything was yummy and I was treated well so it’s going into my lunch rotation. I’ll be back.
I’ve had two take outs here the past month. Food is well packed. Taste and appearance is consistently delicious. If you choose not to eat in due to Covid, definitely do Cinco de Mayo takeout. Well worth it!!!
They do have outdoor seating for warmer weather. As well as a large dining room.
If you are EVER in this part of Tennessee and you want some of that GREAT AF Mexican food, this is the place to eat it. Can't wait till I come again.
My son and I tried out Cinco de Mayo tonight (yes they are open)! It was absolutely awesome. Hands down the best cheese dip in Franklin. It's very thick and full of flavor. The homemade guacamole was the best I've had in Franklin. I only had a ground beef taco for my meal, but it was stuffed with at least three times the meat as most restaurants. My son had the steak chimichanga, and he loved it. I'm not a fan of margaritas any longer, but I had a Tito's and water and it was a very good drink for the price. We both ordered dessert to go, but there was no way we could eat it tonight. They had college football on every TV (no offense soccer fans), and the outdoor seating area is huge. Lastly, Maria D was our server, and the service was perfect. Hopefully we've finally found a great Mexican restaurant that will stay in this spot for a long time. I HIGHLY recommend it!
